PPC also converts better. Studies have shown that PPC ads convert 1.5 times more than organic search pages. This is because PPC allows you to send your visitors to a landing page that is highly targeted to that visitor.
Disadvantages of PPC
PPC is quick but it’s also costly, You can get on the front page of the search engines within a day, but to get the costs down and create a campaign that is making you a profit can take a while.
Every click that you receive from a PPC add costs you money. This could be anything from a couple of pence to a few pound per click.
PPC vs SEO conclusion
If I only had to choose between PPC vs SEO I would go for SEO as ranking high for a targeted keyword is going to be very valuable to your business. SEO is slower but once your website is ranking then each additional click is not going to cost you anything.
That is not to say you should ignore PPC because I think that both SEO and PPC have their place in business and ideally you should be considering both for your business.
